Cezeri Laboratory Training Initiative Completed Successfully in Tunisia

Tataouine: The Cezeri Laboratory Techniques and Applications Training, organized under the auspices of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Tataouine, Tunisia, has recently concluded with significant achievements. According to African Press Organization, the training, hosted at the Cezeri Laboratory, united academics and students from the Tunisian City of Sciences, the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Tataouine, and the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts. Participants engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions covering digital manufacturing technologies, design thinking, and innovation, alongside hands-on production processes. The initiative aimed to enhance skills in innovative thinking, problem-solving, design development, and practical production. The technical infrastructure of the Cezeri Laboratory allowed participants to convert their ideas into concrete projects using modern manufacturing technologies. Certificates were awarded to 26 academics and students w ho completed the training, signifying the enhancement of their competencies in technology, manufacturing, and innovation. The Cezeri Laboratory plays a vital role in aiding young people and academics to adapt to digital transformation processes, promoting innovation and production in the region. The laboratory, through its training, research, and practical activities, aims to bolster technology-oriented capacities of local human resources. It supports local development and enhances human capital by equipping the youth with essential technical skills relevant in today's world. Tataouine, situated in Tunisia's southernmost area, faces challenges such as youth unemployment and limited access to technical education. This initiative aligns with the Tunisian government's regional development priorities and aims to expand technology- and innovation-focused educational opportunities in disadvantaged areas. In accordance with Tunisia's development goals, TIKA remains committed to supporting projects that strengthen technology, innovation, and production-oriented skills, preparing young people for future professions.
