Chahed denies any intention to review latest appointments of delegates

Prime Minister Youssef Chahed has denied any intention to review the latest appointments in the corps of delegates.

Chahed spoke to reporters Tuesday, on the sidelines of the opening of the national conference on the reform of the social protection system in Tunis.

One hundred and fourteen delegates in different regions of the country have been appointment as part of this reshuffle.

The delegates’ reshuffle, announced last Friday, has been heavily criticised by political parties, in that, according to them, it was carried out on the basis of partisan quotas.
