Chief of Coaltar Praises Okyehene for New School Block Construction

COALTAR: The Chief of Coaltar, Barimah Okekrebesi Asiedu II, has expressed gratitude towards Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin, the Okyehene, for his significant contribution to education in the Ayensuano District. The commendation came during the inauguration of a modern school block in La-Mangoase, aimed at providing accessible basic education to children in the area. According to Ghana News Agency, the new school block was constructed through a partnership between the Okyehene and the Bank of Ghana. The initiative is part of a broader objective to enhance educational foundations for children in the district, positioning them for future success and community development. Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin emphasized the importance of education and urged parents to encourage reading over excessive screen time. He also called on teachers to positively influence the students' lives. Mr. Alexander Narh Amanya, the District Director of Education in Coaltar, described the school as a beacon of hope. He encouraged studen ts to pursue excellence and innovation, noting that education is pivotal in unlocking potential. Amanya also tasked teachers with fostering an environment that nurtures curiosity and critical thinking. The District Chief Executive of Ayensuano, Mr. Josephine Inkoom, assured that the education directorate would ensure the school is staffed with qualified teachers and engage in activities to maintain its competitiveness. She expressed appreciation for the Okyehene's dedication to community development and education, hoping the school would serve as a lasting symbol of hope and transformation.
