Tunisia: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tunisia, Wan Li, has highlighted Tunisia’s role as a regional hub for scientific expertise, emphasizing its appeal to foreign investors, particularly those from China. In a statement made on Friday, the ambassador underscored the nation’s high-quality assets and skilled workforce as significant attractions for investment.
According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, during an interview recorded in the agency’s TV studio, Ambassador Wan Li emphasized that Tunisia’s highly qualified professionals are a strategic pillar for the country’s development. He noted that China could leverage these competencies, which are recognized for their excellence, to strengthen bilateral ties.
The ambassador elaborated on China’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in emerging industries throughout Africa, including Tunisia. He highlighted sectors such as technological innovation, the digital economy, and energy transition as key areas of focus.
Ambassador Wan Li also mentioned that several Chinese technology innovation companies are increasingly pursuing partnerships with Tunisian firms. These collaborations are primarily directed towards addressing advanced technological challenges across various regional markets.
