China Railway Group to open subsidiary in Tunisia

China Railway, one of the world’s largest companies operating in infrastructure construction and manufacturing of engineering equipment and components, will open an office in Tunisia, Minister of Industry and Trade Zied LaAdhari announced on Monday following a meeting with a delegation of Chinese investors, led by Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Railway Wei Yankun and the Secretary-General of the Chinese Silk Road, Hong Hong.

China Railway is the group tasked with carrying out “the new Silk Road” project, a megaproject that consists of building hundreds of roads, bridges and railways linking China to Europe and the Mediterranean.
