The National Office of Civil Protection units put out 80 fires in the last 24 hours, which devastated several regions of the country.
The Civil Protection units conducted, on Friday, a total of 437 interventions including 80 fire extinguishments, 89 rescue operations on the roads, 252 other rescue interventions and two rescue operations at sea, according to a an Interior Ministry press release issued on Saturday.
