Co-operation agreement between Foreign and Culture ministries inked

A co-operation agreement for a better co-ordination between the various Tunisian structures and institutions was inked between the Foreign and Culture ministries on the sidelines of the 35th Annual Conference of Heads of Diplomatic and Consular Missions whose works were opened Wednesday, according to a Culture Ministry press release.

The agreement aims to boost Tunisia’s image abroad, foster the relations of the Tunisian community notably the new generation living abroad with their country by helping them familiarise with Tunisia’s cultural, historical and civilisational specifities.

This agreement is part of the policy adopted by the ministry to reinforce the international nature of various Tunisian ministries and structures and consolidate the role of diplomatic and consular missions abroad.

The 35th Annual Conference of Heads of Diplomatic and Consular Missions under the theme: “Economic Diplomacy: Tunisian-African Co-operation as an Example” is organised by the Foreign Ministry and is due to last till July 28.
