CONECT President Tarek Cherif elected vice-president of Federation of Arab Businessmen

Tarek Cherif, president of CONECT was elected, vice-president of the Federation of Arab Businessmen (FAB) for the period 2018-2022, on the sidelines of the work of the 16th meeting of The Arab Business Community, held Monday in Amman, Jordan, said Tuesday the Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT).

On this occasion, a memorandum of understanding and a convention for the creation of a joint Business Council between CONECT and the Federation were signed to strengthen the economic and commercial partnership between the two countries.

FAB has, at the same time, presented its actions and its participation in the various economic meetings organised by the Arab League.

In addition to the delegation of CONECT, Tunisia was represented by Khalil Laabidi, President of the Tunisian Authority of Investment, government representatives and several companies and experts.

The Federation of Arab Businessmen is an independent, non-governmental Arab body founded in 1997 that includes several Arab business associations, bodies and unions. Conect joined the FAB on February 9, 2016.
