The situation is stable in the country despite protests over industrial issues, said Interior Minister Taoufik Charfeddine at the Periodic Conference of Governors.
The ministry makes sure when handling protests fundamental freedoms of citizens are respcted. This in addition to protecting public and private property and ensuring the continuity of public services, he further said.
Charfeddine urged governors to increase coordination among regional and central structures of the State so as to overcome this delicate phase and attain goals set by the government.
He also laid emphasis on the importance of this conference given the political, economic and social difficulties facing the country.
Requirements of the post-COVID economic recovery as well as the stimulation of growth and investment top the event’s agenda, in addition to the goverment’s priorities including the 2023-2025 development plan.
