The office of Ennahdha movement President Rached Ghannouchi underlined the need to discuss the Constitutional Court issue in respect of the State symbols, citing in particular the President of the Republic.
In this regard, the office called for complying with the provisions of national unity and coexistence between all Tunisians.
In a statement released Monday evening, as part of the follow-up of developments on the national scene, Ennahdha reaffirmed Rached Ghannouchi’s determination to finalise the setting up of the Constitutional Court as soon as possible as “it is a national matter,” adding that the interest shown by Tunisia’s friends in this issue testifies to the international support enjoyed by the democratic transition in Tunisia.
“The interest shown by Tunisia’s friends in the constitutional court presents the country with a real challenge,” the movement added.
In another connection, the Ennahdha movement expressed deep “concern” about the appearance of civilians before military courts for opinion-related cases.
