The governorate of Bizerte reported 17 new COVID-19 cases, after the release of results of 236 laboratory tests, a source within the local health watch unit told TAP Monday.

This takes overall infection cases to 29589, including 28465 recoveries, since the spread of the pandemic in the region.

Currently, four COVID patients are placed in ICU in hospitals in the governorate, where the virus test positivity rate has declined to 7%, according to the same source.
