Twenty additional coronavirus-related deaths and 5511 more infections with the virus on a total of 15,443 tests carried out, with a positivity rate of 35.69% were recorded on February 4, 2022, the Ministry of Health reported Saturday evening.
In its daily report about the epidemic situation in the country, the Ministry stressed that more than 940,000 COVID-19 cases have been recorded and fatality numbers have reached 26,612, since the emergence of the pandemic in Tunisia in March 2020.
The total number of recoveries amounted, on the same date, to 828,324 after the recovery of 7080 individuals on February 4.
As of February 4, 2022, the total number of people admitted to public and private health facilities amounted, according to the same source, to 1383 of which 252 are in ICU and 49 put on ventillators.
