Three coronavirus-related deaths were recorded on Monday, November 8, the Health Ministry said in a statement Tuesday.

It also reported 105 more COVID-19 cases, after 3,720 tests were carried out, or a positivity rate of 2.82pc.

The total number of deaths from the coronavirus since its emergence in March 2020 has therefore risen to 25,287.

Recoveries recorded on Monday stood at 1915.

The number of patients hospitalised in public and private health facilities, as of November 8, is about 189 people after the admission of 16 new patients with the virus, according to the same source.

On the same date, 57 patients are admitted to ICU in public and private hospitals, and 16 cases put on ventillators.
