793,342 families have benefited from TND300-exceptional financial assistance granted to help them deal with the economic impact of the COVID crisis. The overall amount of the assistance granted until October 13 stands at 238 million dinars.

The Ministry of Social Affairs said in a statement more assistance will be allocated to other recipients who meet the criteria next week.

Minister of Social Affairs Malek Zahi stressed at a working session the imperative to distribute the aid to the beneficiaries as soon as possible.
