One more person has died of coronavirus in the governorate of Beja over the past 24 hours, bringing the count to 287 since the spread of the pandemic.

215 more infections have also been reported during the same period, including 134 positive cases in Beja downtown, the Local Health Directorate said Sunday.

The other positive cases have been detected in Téboursouk (28 cases), Medjez El Bab (24 cases), Testour (14 cases), Nefza (8 cases) and Amdoun (one case), the same source said.

Beja has registered 9,608 cases including 7,742 recoveries, since the spread of the virus.
