The governorate of Manouba has recorded 10 more coronavirus-related deaths in the last 48 hours, bringing overall fatality numbers to 497 in the region, the local health directorate announced Thursday.
The region also saw 264 new COVID-19 cases in the last two days, including 188 cases detected Thursday. This takes overall positive cases in the governorate to 15230, since the emergence of the virus.
According to the same source, 173 people have recovered from the infection in the region where recoveries have risen 13455 cases. However, 1,185 patients still carry the virus, including 26 admitted to Mohamed Kassab orthopedics Institute and the local hospital of Tebourba.
