The Counter-Terrorism Judicial Division investigating judge has issued two detention warrants for lawyer Ghazi Chaouachi and Ridha Belhadj, leader in the National Salvation Front, as reported by defence lawyer Ines Harrath.

Earlier, detention warrants were issued against Jawhar Ben Mbarek and Chaïma Aissa, two leaders of the National Salvation Front, as well as Secretary General of Al Joumhouri party Issam Chebbi.

According to Samir Dilou, member of the defence committee, former Secretary General of the Democratic Current Ghazi Chaouachi and Ridha Belhaj will appear before the investigating judge at the Counter-terrorism division on Saturday. Both were arrested on Friday evening.

Dilou also stated that warrants were issued on Friday night against businessman Kamel Letaief, activist Khayem Turki, former leader of Ennahdha Party Abdelhamid Jelassi, and Secretary General of Al Joumhouri Party Issam Chebbi.
