In fact, 389 classes were closed during this period, in addition to 14 foreign mission schools, said the ministry in its weekly bulletin on the monitoring of the epidemiological situation in schools, published on its Facebook page.
The region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima leads with a total of 795 confirmed cases of Covid-19, followed by Fez-Meknes with 653 cases, while the region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra has the largest number of closed schools (100).
The protocol approved by the Ministry requires the closure of the classroom and the adoption of distance learning for a period of seven days after the detection of three or more cases in the same school in one week.
In the event that ten or more cases are recorded in different classes at the level of the institution, the decision to close and adopt distance learning for seven days is taken in coordination with the competent authorities, according to the protocol that requires compliance with all precautionary measures in force.
