Out of the 114,643 text message invites sent on October 12, only 34,687 people honoured their jab appointments, according to the Health Ministry.

The number of fully vaccinated people stands at 4,113,510 and is as follows: 3,224,396 got two shots, 382,915 got one shot as the J&J/Janssen vaccine requires a single dose and a further 506,199 had one jab as they had previously contracted the virus.

The ministry added that 8,540,640 jabs have been administered so far, including 5,316,244 first shots and 3,224,396 boosters.

The number of people registered on Evax.tn platform reached 6,485,095 on this date.
