Bizerte governorate recorded six fatalities of the coronavirus during the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll in the region to 1,248, member of the local health watchdog Ibtissem Blanco told TAP.

Another 377 people have contracted the virus in the region, among 961 tested. The caseload in Bizerte has therefore risen to 39,483, including 35,485 recoveries.

The occupation rate of beds in the local hospitals has reached 20% for oxygen-supported beds and 24% for intensive care beds.
