Six more COVID-19 infections were logged in El Kef from 63 tests performed on October 15-16, said the local health directorate on Sunday. The case count presently stands at 19,617, including 19, 561 recoveries.

The governorate, which logged 688 deaths, reported no more fatalities in its latest update.

The number of hospitalisations fell to 16, including 9 in intensive care units, while that of people quarantining at home dropped to 56.
