Three more COVID-19 deaths were reported in Gabés over the past 48 hours, said Head of Department at the primary healthcare directorate Souad Yahyaoui. This brought fatality numbers to 487.

The region also logged 266 more infections from 667 tests.

The caseload soared to 16, 217 infections since the pandemic started, including 14,680 recoveries. 54 patients are currently staying in various COVID-19 wards across the governorate, including 6 in ICUs.
