The local health directorate in Gafsa announced that 7 more coronavirus-related fatalities had been reported in the governorate, bringing the death toll to 396 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
88 further infections were recorded in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 8,049 including 7,129 recoveries, according to the same source.
