Fatality numbers in Manouba rose to 713 after nine more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the virus over the last 24 hours, the local health directorate said on Saturday.
The caseload also spiked to 24, 143 infections after another 98 people tested positive. This includes 19,451 recoveries.
There are currently 3,979 active carriers in the governorate, including 109 hospitalised.
