Médenine saw its fatality numbers rise to1,371 after five more people succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, Local Health Director Jameleddine Hamdi told TAP on Friday.

Another 228 confirmed cases were also detected, pushing the caseload to 47, 843 infections. Figures show 101 patients are currently hospitalised in public and private facilities.
