The governorate of Medenine reported 137 additional infections by the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, including 79 cases detected in the delegation of Zarzis, Preventive Health Director Zayed El Anz stated to TAP. Hence, the region has seen a total of 15,997 infections since the outbreak of the pandemic, including 1,508 recoveries and 655 deaths, according to the same source.
As for the progress of the national jab drive, 56,534 doses have already been administered in the region.
