28 COVID-19 infections were logged on Monday in Monastir, taking the caseload to 57,832, the local health directorate said on Wednesday.

The number of active virus-carriers stands at 579 reported on Monday, including 15 hospitalised.

Recoveries rose by 60, hitting 56,111, the same source added.
