One more life was lost to the coronavirus in Monastir, taking the death toll to 1,072, the local health directorate said Monday. Another 263 confirmed cases pushed the caseload to 55,359 infections.

Recovery numbers rose by 621 to 44,008, while the number of hospitalisations in public and private facilities now stands at 93.

The governorate reported an incidence of 825 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
