Monastir reported two COVID-19 infections over the last 48 hours, said the local health directorate, taking the case count 40,008. An additional ten recoveries brought the total to 38,880.

The number of virus carriers stands presently at 122. The incidence rate dropped to 8 per 100,000 inhabitants.

So far, the governorate vaccinated 289,931 people.
