COVID-19: more than 4,000 new infections and 13 additional deaths reported on February 18

Thirteen additional coronavirus-related deaths and 4356 more infections with the virus were recorded on February 18 until midnight, on a total of 16,860 tests, with a positivity rate of 25.84%.

According to the latest report published by the Health Ministry Sunday, 986336 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded, since the outbreak of the pandemic in Tunisia in March 2020. These include 27,448 fatalities and 920,017 recoveries.

According to the same report, 62 new hospitalisations were recorded in public and private health facilities on February 18. This takes the total number of hospitalised patients with COVID-19 to 1,315, of whom 236 are in intensive care and 49 are put on ventillators.
