One COVID-19 death and 111 more infections from 294 tests made on July 2 were reported in El Kef, the local health directorate said on Sunday.
Th death toll rose to 372 since the pandemic began. The caseload reached 11,468 infections, including 10,319 recoveries.
Hospitals hit full capacity as the number of patients at 90, including 15 in intensive care. The situation is alarming, notably in the city of El Kef where the incidence rate exceeded 900 cases per 1,000 inhabitants, said information officer Abdelbaki Jomni.
