One more life was lost to the coronavirus in Gabés, the local health directorate said on Wednesday.
The caseload stands presently at 27,722 infections after 178 more people contracted the virus.
Currently, there are 1,385 active carriers in the governorate, including 483 in South Gabés, 197 in Mareth and 179 in el Hamma.
