23,874 people honoured their vaccination appointments on October 19 out of 113,493 who received text message invites, according to the Health Ministry.

4,240,154 people have been fully vaccinated so far, including 3,314,850 who got two shots, 411,093 received one dose as the J&J/Janssen vaccine requires a single dose and a further 514,211 had one jab as they had previously contracted the virus.

The total number of administered vaccines stood at 8,747,863 (5,433,013 first shots and 3,314,850 second doses) on October 19.

The number of people registered on Evax.tn hit 6,564,831 on this date.
