The governorate of Sfax has not reported any COVID-19 death in the last 48 hours against 13 more infections from 307 tests, taking the caseload to 57,005 since the outbreak of the pandemic including 5,595 recoveries and 1,756 deaths, according to the latest figures released by the local health directorate on Monday.

Besides, 13 patients are currently in intensive care, 26 of whom are being treated in the CVID ward of the Hédi Chaker teaching hospital and 7 patients are in the local private clinics.

The number of citizens vaccinated in the governorate of Sfax has reached 893,247 until October 16.
