Three people, on Saturday, died as a result of the coronavirus in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid where the death toll from the pandemic has reached 371, deputy director of primary health Bechir Saidi told TAP.

101 people have tested positive, following the release of results of 310 laboratory tests, bringing to 12,295 the total number of infection cases in the region, since the spread of the pandemic.

In addition, 94 patients have recovered from the infection in the region where the total number of recoveries have so far amounted to 11,402 cases.

The same source pointed out that the governorate of Sidi Bouzid currently has 68 patients hospitalised following the admission on Saturday of 8 more patients with COVID to local hospitals.
