11 COVID-19 fatalities were logged in Sidi Bouzid in the past 24 hours, taking the death count in the region to 624, Local Health Director Bechir Saidi told TAP Friday.

233 infections were also reported, pushing the caseload to 20,160, including 17,860 recoveries.

The number of hospitalisations also rose by 19, hitting 153.
