11 COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the past 24 hours in Siliana governorate, taking the death count in the region to 403, Siliana Preventive Health Director Hassan Manai said Thursday.
The region further logged 119 more infections from 255 conducted tests (46.6% incidence rate).
These infections were reported in Siliana (35), Makther (25), Bou Arada (21), Gaâfour (12), El Krib (11), Bargou (7), Errouhia (4), Kesra (2) and Sidi Bou Rouis (2).
As such, the caseload now stands at 11,899, he told TAP.
The official further indicated that the occupancy rate of the governorate’s local hospital beds has dropped while that of the Siliana regional hospital has reached its maximum capacity.
