The governorate of Tatatouine has recorded 6 more deaths of coronavirus over the past 48 hours, the Local Health Directorate said Monday.
The deceased are from North Tataouine (5 deaths) and Ghmorassen (1 death).
23 more COVID-19 cases have also been recorded, taking the count to 4,994 since the spread of the virus.
The new positive cases have been found in North Tataouine (18 cases), South Tataouine (2 cases), Remada (2 cases) and Beni Mhira (1 case).
7 patients are currently staying at the Local Hpsoital of Tataouine and two others are in the Local Hospital of Remada, the same source said.
