Three people died from coronavirus in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid Tuesday. This takes overall fatality numbers from the virus to 312 in the region.
The region also saw 166 more COVID-19 cases, bringing total to 10,669 in the region since the outbreak of the epidemic, Béchir Saidi, deputy director of primary health in Sidi Bouzid told TAP.
The delegation of West Sidi Bouzid, with 4019 cases, occupies the first place in the governorate in terms of infection numbers, followed by East Sidi Bouzid (1,135 cases), Meknassi (935 cases), Regueb (838 cases), Mezzouna (755 cases), Ouled Haffouz (618 cases), Cebalet Ouled Asker (453 cases), Souk Jedid (457 cases), Bir Lahfay (405 cases), Jelma (363 cases), Sidi Ali ben Aoun (335 cases), Menzel Bouzaiene (264 cases) and Saida (92 cases).
In addition, 12 COVID-19 patients were admitted to the local hospitals Tuesday, bringing to 77 the number of hospitalised patients.
