The governorate of Tozeur reported 2 COVID-related deaths over the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 170 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
19 more infections were recorded from 95 conducted tests, bringing the caseload to 7,473, including 7,190 recoveries, official at the Local Health Directorate Foued Barani stated to TAP.
12 patients are staying in local hospitals, 3 among them in ICUs, the same source said.
6,200 local citizens have received the first dose of the vaccine since the start of the national jab drive.
