Tunisia logged 3,136 COVID-19 infections on August 9 until 11pm from 13,560 tests, i.e. a 23.13% positivity rate in comparison with 30.30% last July 15.

The Health Ministry also reported 131 fatalities, including 19 that occurred on August 9 compared to 69 deaths on July 15.

The death count now stands at 21,220 out of a total of 616,764 infections. Recoveries also rose by 2,916, reaching 549,530.
