17 COVID-19 deaths and 920 infections were logged on February 19 from 4,653 tests (19.77% positivity rate), taking the caseload to 987,256 and death toll to 27,486, the Health Ministry said.

The number of recoveries rose by 1,240, hitting 925,164.

51 new hospitalisations in public and private healthcare facilities took the total to 1,282. This includes 234 patients in intensive care and 51 under life support.
