Tunisia had logged 550 COVID-19 infections on September 12 from 4,220 tests (13.03% positivity rate), taking the caseload to 695,406, the Health Ministry said on Monday evening.
An initial number of 17 deaths were also reported, pushing death count to 24,274.
Recoveries also rose by 770, hitting 667,201.
25 new hospitalisations in public and private facilities brought the total to 2,244, including 445 in ICUs and 103 on life support.
