Tunisia logged 4 more COVID-19 deaths and 406 infections from 7,892 tests conducted on October 4, i.e. positivity rate of 5.14%, according to the Health Ministry.
As such, the caseload hit 708,788 and the death count 24,966.
The number of recoveries also rose by 673, hitting 679,712.
17 new hospitalisations were recorded on the same date in public and private health facilities, taking the total to 962, including 184 in ICUs and 67 on life support.
