COVID-19: Tunisia logs 82 more deaths, 6,184 new infections in 24 hours

Tunisia logged an additional 82 COVID-19 deaths on July 2 and 6,184 new infections from 17,647 tests ( a positivity rate of 35.04%) , the Health Ministry said.

 

The death count spiked to 15, 261 since the pandemic started.  A further 2, 140 recoveries on July 2 brought the overall number to 360, 645.

 

3,401 people were admitted to hospitals in public and private healthcare facilities, including 605 in intensive care and 139 under life support.
