The COVID-19 death toll climbed to 48 and infection tally to 13,947 in the week from June 27 to July 3, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. The positivity rate followed suit.

182 hospitalisations were reported in public and private healthcare facilities during the same period against 4,748 recoveries.

The ministry indicated that the death toll has hit 28,748, the caseload 1,066,127 and recoveries 1,037,537 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.
