Up to September 2, about two million 183 thousand people had completed the vaccination against the Coronavirus, since the launch of the first vaccination operations in Tunisia last March, said a statement issued Friday by the Ministry of Health.

Those vaccinated with two doses have acquired the largest share of the total number of people who have completed their vaccination, their number reached, on September 2, about 1 million 517 thousand people.

The number of people who completed their vaccination with the Janssen vaccine (a single-dose vaccine) reached 318,503 people, while the number of people who recovered from the Coronavirus infection and received one dose reached about 348,000 people. The number of people who missed their vaccination date on September 2 reached about 1 million 517,000.

The number of people who missed their vaccination date on September 2 reached 63,236, while the number of people vaccinated on that date did not exceed 32,407, while about 96,000 people were called for vaccination.

The total number of vaccines used since the launch of the national vaccination campaign last March until September 2 reached more than 5 million and 787 thousand vaccines, while the number of people registered in the EVAX vaccination system reached more than 5 million and 869 thousand people, according to the Ministry of Health.
