Four more people died of coronavirus in the governorate of Zaghouan, bringing the toll to 213, since the spread of the pandemic in the region, Local Deputy Director of Primary Health Nabil Ouerfelli told TAP Wednesday.
105 more infections have also been detected in the region, taking the count to 6,414 cases, the same source said, adding that the rate of infections has been on the rise since May, with incidence rate reaching 40%.
Local Health Director in Zaghouan, Souhail Bali pointed out that a field hospital, with a capacity of 35 beds will be soon installed in the city so as to provide medical care to COVID-19 patients.
“This will help decongest COVID-19 units in our local hospitals,” Bali underscored.
