CRT President Ibrahim El Gharbi, dies

President of the Tunisian Red Crescent (CRT) Pr. Ibrahim El Gahrbi died on February 12, the CRT said in a press release.

Born on December 19, 1920, he had devoted his life for humanitarian work at the national and international levels. He was one of the founders of the CRT.

El Gharbi had received his doctoral degree in medicine in 1951 in Paris and was appointed Honorary President of Tunisia’s National Medical Council.

He will be buried on February 13 in Sidi Ali Nawali’s cemetery in Kelibia, the press release indicated.
