(TAP) – Revenues from Tunisian date export have reached 759.8 million dinars in 2022, up 6% compared to 2021, according to the monthly note published by the National Observatory of Agriculture (ONAGRI) Friday.
Date exports went up 8.8% in volume compared to 2021, to 130,300 tonnes.
The variety “Deglet Ennour” accounts for 83% of the quantities exported, or 108,100tonnes, worth 715.7 million dinars.
The leading importer of Tunisian dates is Morocco, with 19% of quantities exported, followed by Libya (9.4%) and Italy (7.9%), according to ONAGRI.
